About CHENL

CHENL is an association dedicated to providing support and direction for Home Educating families in Newfoundland and Labrador. CHENL has played an increasing role in directly lobbying local School Board and government offices with regard to Home Education. The Association also operates as liaison with most post-secondary institutions in Newfoundland and Labrador. CHENL plans and provides an annual Home Education Conference in Newfoundland and Labrador, which combines excellent national and local speakers with a curriculum fair as well as the chance to meet with fellow provincial home educators.
