A) Yes, the Canadian charter of right guarantees our legal right to home education. For more specific guidelines regarding the legalities contact HSLDA.

Q) Do you have to be a teacher to home educate?

A) No, there are no legal requirements that you be a certified educator to home educate.

Q) Can you home educate right through high school?

A) Yes, there are many people all across Canada that were home educated all throughout their lives. Some are now successfully employed, some are now pursuing a more formal education through colleges and universities.
